Welcome to the Republic Early Childhood Center! I’m excited to begin my second year as the Early Childhood Principal for Republic Schools. Having spent 21 of my 23 years in education within the Republic School System, I’ve built a deep connection to this community. Prior to joining the Early Childhood Center as assistant director in 2022, I served as the K-2 literacy specialist, where I contributed to curriculum development, professional development, and coaching teachers. My experience also includes roles as a kindergarten teacher, Reading Recovery teacher, and K-5 literacy coach.

I hold post-graduate degrees in early childhood education, reading, and administration. I live in Republic with my husband of 23 years and our two children, Madelyn (19) and Jack (17). In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending quality time with my family. I’m looking forward to another fantastic year working with our amazing team and supporting our young learners!

Welcome to the new school year at the Republic Early Childhood Center! I am so excited for my second year as Assistant Early Childhood Director. I’m happy to be partnering with Mrs. Phillips, the staff at EC, and the parents and community to serve our tiniest learners in Republic. I have served as a second and third grade teacher at Schofield Elementary for the last seven years. Along with having my degree in early childhood education, I obtained my masters in administration. My husband and I have a daughter, Paisley (3), and a son, Hayes (1). In my spare time, I love to read and spend time outside with my family.
