Mr. Tracy Williams is in his 23rd year in education, his 12th year as a building administrator and his third as the head principal of Republic Middle School. Mr. Williams began his teaching career in the Springfield Public School system, teaching at both the middle and high school levels. During that time, he also served as a head coach for both football and track teams. Prior to joining Republic Middle School, he was the building principal at Hickory Hills K-8 in Springfield, MO.

Mr. Williams' wife is also in education. She is a teacher at Horace Mann Elementary in SPS. Their oldest daughter attends college at the University of Arkansas and their youngest will be completing her senior year of high school this year. Outside of school, Mr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hiking, and serving as a volunteer. 

Mr. Williams is excited to begin his 3rd year as the head principal of Republic Middle School and the opportunity to lead and serve the staff and students for the 2024-2025 school year.

Mrs. Miranda Schaefer is in her 16th year in education. She graduated from Evangel University with a degree in elementary education, minor in leadership. She also holds a M.Ed in Educational Administration from Evangel and a Specialist from MSU in Superintendency. Mrs. Schaefer began her teaching career in Springfield Public Schools teaching elementary grades at both Bowerman and Hickory Hills. Then she became the Coordinator of Site Interventions at Hickory Hills School for at-risk middle school students. This will be her third year serving the Republic community as an assistant principal.

Mrs. Schaefer loves spending time with her three boys and husband. They enjoy fishing, hiking, and traveling to new places as a family.

Mr. Bret Gallion graduated from Drury University with a B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education.  He also earned an M.Ed in Educational Administration from William Woods University.  Mr. Gallion spent his first 11 years in education at Parkview High School where he taught mathematics and coached baseball and softball.  He is serving his third year in administration at RMS this year.

Mr. Gallion’s wife is a mathematics teacher at RHS and is beginning her third year as the Head Cross-Country coach for the high school. They enjoy watching their two sons grow and learn. Outside of school, Mr. Gallion enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities.

Mrs. Kaley Greek will begin her first year as Assistant Principal at Republic Middle School this year.

Mrs. Greek has served in the Republic School District for six years. She has taught math at Republic Middle School and, most recently, Republic High School. During her time in Republic, she has also served as the Head Cheer Coach for three years. In addition, Mrs. Greek has taken on various leadership roles throughout the district, with the most recent being at Republic High School as the Summer School Administrative Intern for the 2023 and 2024 sessions.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri State University, as well as a master’s degree in Administration from MSU.
