Denny Lawson is a 25-year resident of Republic and currently resides in our community with his family. Mr. Lawson is married to Brandi Lawson. Together they have four children who attend the Republic School District: Ellie, Lane, Lilly, and Leah. In addition to serving on the board of education, Mr. Lawson is a member of Republic Kiwanis Club, a Reserve Officer for the Ash Grove Police Department, and a member of First Baptist Church of Clever.

He is employed as Chief Commercialization Officer for CyndRx Medical, a biomedical device company. Mr. Lawson is a Southeast Missouri University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology.

When asked why he wanted to serve the community as a school board member he responded, “I have always possessed a servant mentality. From serving in the military to a career in law enforcement, to now serving my community, I feel the need to serve. I have been very blessed and feel it is important to set the standard for my children and show the importance of volunteering.”
