John Parker has lived in Republic for all of his life.  He has been married to Krisi for over twenty years and they have raised their three sons up through the Republic School District.  Jake and Chad have recently graduated, and Scott is in high school. 

 After John graduated RHS, he attended SMSU and obtained a degree in management.  Now he is a financial advisor for Edward Jones.  He is a member of the local Kiwanis club and his family are members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

 John joined the school board because he saw the opportunity to serve his community.  The district has an incredible responsibility to 'Prepare each student for a successful future' and he wants to help the district achieve that goal.
