Mr. Robin Davidson has lived in the Republic community with his family since 2007. He and his wife, Teresa, have nine children–seven of which attended Republic School District: Casye, Robin II, Bishop, Stone, Eli, Reese, Lincoln, Anna and Mari. In addition, he has three lovely daughters-in-law and eight grandchildren. Being a stereotypical dad, Robin calls his brood “The D-Team!”
Mr. Davidson graduated from Moberly High School in 1983, and then with his bachelor degree in 1987 from Hannibal-LaGrange University. In 1999 Mr. Robinson began his teaching career with Springfield Public Schools after obtaining his certification from Drury University and a Masters in Educational Administration from MSU. He taught 5th grade for the first fourteen years of his career and has been teaching 4th grade, which he currently teaches, for the last nine years.

Coach to numerous children’s recreational soccer teams in Republic
A veteran Republic Tiger Lacrosse Parent (seven children have played over the past dozen years)
Host and teacher for numerous Youth Bible Studies in Republic
Member of Republic Baptist Assembly
When asked why he wanted to serve on the Republic School District Board of Education he indicated, “I believe elected officials are public servants—chosen to be faithful and accessible representatives for their electorate. I just felt like it was time to “pay it forward” to the community and the district that has embraced and served my family so well over the last fourteen years.”
