Student Health & Wellness
Republic Strives for a Safe and Healthy Environment
Republic R-III School District considers student health and wellness a priority in order for students to achieve their full potential. Students are ready to learn when their basic needs are met and we as a district will strive to provide a healthy and safe environment for children to be their best. We encourage our students to live healthy, play healthy, and eat healthy. A healthy culture starts at home and will continue to be provided to the best of our ability when students attend Republic Schools. Our partnership with parents to provide a healthy and safer environment is imperative to building a strong foundation for lifelong healthy habits.
The district provides students with health and physical education but also provides opportunities such as Fun Fit Fridays, Jump Rope For Heart, running clubs, and the ROAR Run. If parents would like to take an active role in helping our schools and students be healthy, please contact the Wellness Coordinator. For care of student and health-related concerns, please contact your child's building nurse or the Director of Health Services.
