JUNIORS - ACT or ASVAB:
Juniors will be taking the official ACT or ASVAB. Taking one of these assessments is a state graduation requirement. Juniors and parents selected their test of choice (ACT or ASVAB) last semester.
The test will begin at 7:30am and last until 12:30pm (1st-6th hours). If possible, please try to avoid scheduling appointments during this time. If a student misses the test date for any reason, they will be scheduled for the make-up test date on April 13th.
We are asking to team together with you to help our students come prepared for this day.
Tips for success:
ARRIVE ON TIME - This is extremely important! If your student is testing, and arrives after testing has begun, your student will not be able to test.
BRING
ACT - Photo ID and a calculator
ASVAB - Photo ID and a charged Chromebook
Get plenty of SLEEP the night before the test
EAT a good breakfast
Students will receive their assigned testing location during WIN on Monday, April 7th. If your student does not have a WIN, they need to stop by the counseling office on Monday to get the information.
AM OTC Career Center/ GO Caps Students:
(If you are NOT an OTC or GO Caps student, no need to read)
This day is mandatory for all Juniors. Please email your instructors and let them know that you will be absent on April 8th. OTC and GO Caps instructors have been notified about this event, and are very understanding and will allow the students to make up work, as long as the student communicates with the instructor.

The test will begin at 7:30am and last until approximately 10:30am (1st-6th hours). If possible, please try to avoid scheduling appointments during this time. There is not a make-up date for this opportunity.
This aptitude test is a tool to help students learn more about career exploration and planning, in both the civilian and military worlds of work. A couple weeks following ASVAB CEP, your student will receive an individualized score report that will provide suggestions on possible career pathways that could be a good fit for your student based on their strengths found in the assessment.
We are asking to team together with you to help our students come prepared for this day.
