(July 7, 2023) - We have liftoff! The Republic School District is so excited to launch our NEW website and mobile app! We aim for these tools to meet the needs of our students, staff, families and community members as they look to access district and school information.
Our website is still accessible by visiting the same link, www.republicschools.org, but you will notice a new look and new features, a few of which are explained below.
Please note: Many pages on the new website have been updated, but some may not have the latest information related to the 2023-2024 school year as we transition over the summer.
Events Calendars
Each school within our district still has its own web page, complete with building-specific information and a calendar of school events. When using the "Events" section on new website or mobile app, you can add district and building events to your personal calendar or share them with someone you know. Our official 2023-2024 school year calendar is still available on the district home page menu, under "Our District."
New District App and Communications
Our new, FREE district app is available for download by using the buttons below. You can also search "Republic R-3" in your Android Play Store or iPhone App Store to download it.
The "Republic R-3" app will ask if you’d like to subscribe to push notifications for schools throughout our district. We want you to know, these push notifications will be used on a limited basis and will not replace text and phone call communication from the district or your student’s school.
As a district, we will be using this new platform to not only manage our website and app, but to also send those texts and phone calls to our school community when necessary, which means the way they show up on your phone might look a little differently than in previous years. Texts will come from a new shortcode, and as before, you will be automatically subscribed to those using the phone number you’ve provided to the district. A "welcome" text will be sent to all families and staff from the new shortcode soon. Phone calls with need-to-know information will come from either the district’s Central Office phone number (417-732-3605) or the phone number of the building your student attends. Families may still receive phone calls from the number beginning in "844" as before, as these automated phone calls will continue to be related to meal balances and attendance information.
Please note: Our previous app, which is currently only available for downloads through the Play Store, is maintained through a previous provider. It is connected to our former website and will no longer be updated. Therefore, if you have already downloaded our previous app, labeled as "Republic School District," you can delete it and download our new app, which is labeled "Republic R-3," using the links below.

Meal Menus
Breakfast and lunch menus will be available on each building’s individual web page. You can find meal menus on the website or app by choosing the school you’d like to view, select "Menu," then click the "Meals" icon.
Staff Directory
All district directors, building administrators, Central Office staff and certified employees are listed in the Staff Directory, available by clicking "Menu," then the "Directory" icon. The Staff Directory can be found on the district and building pages. Anyone looking to contact a staff member can call the building number listed, or fill out the message form, which will show up in the receiving staff member’s inbox as an email.
Athletics and Activities Landing Page
We are excited to share that one of the biggest changes with the new website is a new Athletics and Activities landing page! This web page will host athletic and activity information for Republic Middle School and Republic High School. Throughout this page, you’ll find group descriptions, sponsor/coach contact information, game schedules, rosters, etc. In addition, you’ll find a new "Events" calendar that will be home to all public RMS and RHS athletic and activity events, including games and competitions. Practices and camps will not be listed.
Please note: Some details, including sponsors and coaches, as well as game/competition schedules, may not be available or up-to-date as we transition to the new school year over the summer.

- On the district, RMS or RHS pages, click "Menu," then "Athletics"
- On any page, click "Schools," then "Athletics and Activities"
- Scroll to the bottom of any page and select "Republic Athletics and Activities"
