Our first RepMO Hero of the 2023-2024 school year is Orba Mayabb, Lead Custodian at Republic Middle School! The RepMO Hero program honors Republic School District staff members who go above and beyond in their service to students and fellow teammates.
Please join us in congratulating Orba and thanking him for his commitment to our schools! Watch the video below to see Superintendent Dr. Matt Pearce and RMS students surprise Orba with this recognition! He will be honored at the October Board of Education meeting and will receive $500 to be spent on the resources of his choice.

"Orba is always on the move and takes care of any situation that arises as quickly as possible, and without complaints. He takes pride in our building, wanting it to always look its best. During the summer months Orba stepped up in the absence of a lead custodian and led our custodial crew in preparing our building for the first week of school. He has done an amazing job leading his team and keeping our building looking great. He always has a smile on his face and is willing to do whatever it takes to help us be successful. Orba is such a pleasure to work with and never hesitates in responding to any need that arises or that is brought to his attention. Thank you, Orba, for all that you do for RMS!"
