At its February meeting, the Republic School District Board of Education approved Ms. Megan Harper as the next Assistant Principal for Sweeny Elementary.
Ms. Harper has been a Republic Tiger for eight years, serving as a fourth grade teacher at Price Elementary. She has led and participated in several Price Elementary leadership teams, working to fulfill the district’s mission of preparing each student for future excellence through a safe educational environment. In addition to her work at Price Elementary, she has served on the district’s curriculum development committee and supervised student teachers through the district’s partnership with Missouri State University.
Building relationships with students, staff and families is a high priority for Ms. Harper. Her strong instructional knowledge will help continue to move Sweeny forward.
