The RepMO Hero for January is Derrick Strain, Network Administrator! The RepMO Hero program honors Republic School District staff members who go above and beyond in their service to students and fellow teammates.
Please join us in congratulating Derrick and thanking him for his tireless efforts to support our district with his technology expertise! Watch the video below to see Superintendent Dr. Matt Pearce surprise Derrick with this recognition! He will be honored at the March Board of Education meeting and will receive $500 to be spent on school-related resources of his choice. He'll also receive an additional day off.

"Derrick Strain, one of our district Network Administrators, is a tremendous asset to our district! He is always willing to help and goes above and beyond in everything he does, ensuring all network processes are in place at all times. Recently, Derrick has been instrumental in helping roll out new Time and Attendance Kiosks to all district computers. He’s also been ready and available to help when issues arise, even a last minute meeting at a department to help troubleshoot. Whenever anything is needed, Derrick is dependable, proactive, and accurate with patience and attention to detail. His work is an integral part of all the digital productivity across the district. His commitment to serving thousands of students and staff members is exceptional and we are proud to nominate him as this month’s RepMO Hero!"
