The RepMO Hero for March is Jon Davis, School Resource Officer at Sweeny and Lyon Elementary Schools! The RepMO Hero program honors Republic School District staff members who go above and beyond in their service to students and fellow teammates.
Please join us in congratulating Officer Davis and thanking him for service to students and staff. Watch the video below to see Superintendent Dr. Matt Pearce surprise Officer Davis with this recognition! He will be honored at the May Board of Education meeting and will receive $500 to be spent on school-related resources of his choice. He'll also receive an additional day off.

"Sweeny Elementary is proud to nominate Officer Jon Davis as our March RepMO Hero! Officer Davis is hardworking, supportive, kind, and always willing to jump in and help wherever he is needed. He not only supports the students at Sweeny, but he supports the staff, too. He can be seen around the school checking on teachers, building relationships with students, serving in the lunchroom, and assisting with radio calls. Officer Davis goes above and beyond for our Sweeny students and is committed to making everyone’s day a little bit brighter. We are so honored to have him at our school!"
