Congratulations to Mr. Eric Hanson, RHS History Teacher, for being selected as the DECEMBER REPMO HERO OF THE MONTH! Mr. Hanson has a long history of going above and beyond to meet the needs of students and fellow employees, both inside and outside of the classroom. Mr. Hanson will be honored at an upcoming Board of Education meeting and will receive $500 to be spent on the resources of his choice. He will also receive an additional paid day off.

Republic High School is proud to nominate Mr. Eric Hanson as our RepMO Hero! Mr. Hanson loves to help students and makes sure they have all the resources needed to succeed. He is known for having very engaging lessons, making history interesting and connecting it with the current time. In all of the classes students have taken with Mr. Hanson, students have stated that he has introduced a concept that is new and exciting to them. They feel like they have genuinely learned a lot from him! He is also very respectful of others' beliefs, opinions, and ideals. In addition, Mr. Hanson regularly takes time to check in with students that are working through personal struggles, and is known for being a great teammate to his coworkers. Mr. Hanson puts passion, care, quality and heart into his teaching work, and we are very grateful for his service to RHS!
