Central Office is proud to nominate Mark Priebe, School Safety Coordinator, as our March RepMO Hero. Mark consistently goes above and beyond in his service to our students and staff, embodying our district's mission and driving it forward.
Mark's expertise ensures that we are well-prepared to maintain a safe educational environment in all situations. He dedicates significant time and effort to the development and refinement of our Emergency Operations Plan. He also diligently coordinates all safety drills across the district, ensuring that both staff and students are knowledgeable and prepared in case of emergencies.
Beyond his crucial safety responsibilities, Mark actively engages with our school community on a daily basis. His commitment is evident in his routine of personally greeting students as they arrive at Republic Middle School each morning. He also makes it a priority to visit and support each of our other school buildings to teach safety lessons or just to check in, fostering a sense of safety and connection across the district.
Mark excels at building positive relationships with students, particularly those who may be at risk. He collaborates effectively with counselors, teachers and administrators to ensure these students receive the necessary support to thrive. His ability to connect with students and his proactive approach in addressing their needs has made a significant impact.
Mark's creative thinking, combined with his law enforcement expertise and genuine care for students and staff, has undeniably enhanced the culture of Central Office and positively influenced the entire district. We are extremely #RepMOProud he chooses to serve in Republic!
