The Republic High School football team will start its season THIS Friday! As we consider the safety of our students and patrons, the home opener will kick off at 8:00 p.m. due to excessive heat. Republic Stadium Event Expectations -- Thank you in advance for following the expectations for the RHS stadium to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all event attendees. 1) If children are not at the concession stand, restrooms or canopy/vendor area, they should be seated in the bleachers. 2) All RMS and RHS students will be expected to sit in the stands with a parent/guardian OR in the designated sections. 3) Adults are welcome to stand next to the railing in the plaza areas on each side of the home bleachers. 4) During the game, members of the public will not be allowed on the track. 5) No outside food or drinks, pets, large bags or students re-entry is permitted.
We're just TWO DAYS AWAY from the first day of school! The 2023-2024 school year will begin on Monday, August 21. As a reminder, to allow for more calendar flexibility, and in response to a survey in early 2023, 10 minutes were added to the end of each school day for the 2023-2024 school year. The Community Kitchen will be distributing FREE lunches June 26-August 18 for kiddos on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the following locations in Republic: -Hood United Methodist at 11:00 am -Parking lot across from Alpine Village AND Republic Apartments at 11:30 am -Briarwood AND Dogwood Apartments at 11:55 am To help make this possible, The Community Kitchen is looking for volunteers to help make and distribute these lunches.
